Marco Baresi is Institutional Affairs & Marketing Director at Turboden S.p.A., company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group. Graduated from the University of Pavia (Italy) with a Master Degree in Environmental Engineering, he is skilled in domestic and international institutional relations and advocacy strategies design, able in innovation management to valorize projects supporting business development and expert in structured finance for investments in renewable and energy efficiency. Working in industrial world, he is actively involved in trade associations operating in renewable and energy efficiency fields. Currently he is Vice President of the European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) and he is also Vice President of ANIMA Italcogen – the Italian Association for Cogeneration and Waste Heat Recovery within Confindustria. Board director of Euroheat and Power the international network for district energy. He actively cooperates with Multilateral Development Banks such as World Bank, EBRD and IDB.
